Hello, we are The Unit Breed:
The Unit Breed have been playing and touring consistently since1998 - four full US tours, 8 regional jaunts and a trip to Japan. We are leaving on another full US tour Jully 13 - Aug 25. We originated in San Jose CA and have been living in Portland OR for the past three years.
We have just finished recording a new 11 song album and full length animated DVD titled "Lost Eyes". New Disorder Records will be releasing this July 2007 and will be available on tour or through www.newdisorder.com.
We've booked all our own tours, recorded our own albums, and created all artwork and packaging. Over the years we've played with all sorts of different bands, including Darkest Hour, Murder City Devils, Two Gallants, Akimbo, Federation X, Fleshies and uncountable others. Some of our influences include NoMeansNo, Blonde Redhead, Shellac, Steel Pole Bathtub, Clutch, Nina Nastasia, Neutral Milk Hotel, Komeda, Firewater, Bright Black Morninglight, Fugazi, Grandaddy, Modest Mouse, etc... We do not sound like these bands and rarely get compared to the same band twice.
We love playing shows and driving across the country. We're also fond of roller coasters, swimming, philosophy, art, and meeting fun outgoing creative open minded people.
